1994

Metro Customs Brokers a subsidiary of Omnitrans is established to serve the U.S. market.

1995

Omnitrans begins offering Ground Logistics services.

1998

Omnitrans acquires Brown and Fortunato, a Vancouver customs brokerage operation.

2002

Metro expands its U.S. border operations to include Champlain, NY; Buffalo, NY; and Blaine, WA.

2003

Omnitrans’ International Freight division is established.

2007

Omnitrans acquires 360 Logistics, a Toronto- based international freight forwarder.

2013

J. René Hébert, a Quebec-based customs broker, is acquired.

2016

Omnitrans acquires Import Commodity Group, a U.S. based customs broker, with offices in New York, Los Angeles, and Miami. Omnitrans China is established with offices in the 3 key distribution centers: Shanghai, Shenzhen and Qingdao.

2021

Omnitrans celebrates 45 years of continuous growth.

2022

Omnitrans launches OT Ship LTL Platform.

2026

Will celebrate 50 years of service and success.

Chairman & Founder

Martin Goldenberg has more than five decades of experience as an entrepreneur. He’s propelled Omnitrans to a leading position in the logistics industry by relentlessly pursuing innovation and committing to excellence. With his strategic insights and unwavering dedication, he inspires and mentors the next generation of logistics experts.

Stephen Segal

President

With almost 35 years of experience and a CA degree from McGill University, Stephen Segal serves as the President of Omnitrans. He has led the company's business development, strategic acquisitions and global expansion, which have solidified its industry position. His people-centric approach and leadership skills continue to drive Omnitrans towards growth and success.

Blair Katz

Executive VP

Blair Katz has 30 years of leadership experience at Omnitrans and holds a BA in Economics from McGill University. He has played a pivotal role in the company's growth through the establishment of key business units. Currently, he leverages his deep industry knowledge to oversee Omnitrans' service divisions.

Anna Vitasovic

Vice President
International Freight

Anna Vitasovic has more than 26 years of experience at Omnitrans. She has played a pivotal role in leading digital transformation, establishing offices in China and ensuring workforce readiness for remote operations. She has guided teams across North America and China with her expertise.

Sean Adelsohn

Senior Vice President
of Business Development
& Client Experience

For nearly two decades and across two continents, Sean has consistently demonstrated his ability to understand customer needs while creating and delivering innovative, value-driven solutions for the logistics, manufacturing, and wine industry. In leading both our Courier and Ground Logistics divisions, he has conceptualized and implemented mass-market and tailor-made strategies while developing world-class service and operational teams. Sean also oversees our corporate Sustainability program via an ESG framework.

Marie-France Desnoyers

Marie-France Desnoyers has nearly two decades of senior management experience in Human Resources and Communications. Fostering employee engagement, nurturing talent, facilitating succession planning and championing diversity and inclusion initiatives. With experience in the manufacturing, technology and pharmaceutical sectors on national and international stages, she has adeptly navigated growth and restructuring scenarios with an unwavering commitment to a human-centric approach.

John Delucilla

Chief Information
Technology Officer

John Delucilla has nearly 25 years of managerial experience, a bachelor’s degree in management information systems and an MBA in Project Management from McGill University. He oversees companywide information and technology systems, earning recognition like the Software Industry Technological Innovation Award for his integration work.

Nicolas Poplemon

Chief Financial Officer

Nicolas, a leader who values team unity through respect, cooperation, and open communication, began his career in the accounting department while studying finance at Concordia University. After earning his Bachelor of Commerce degree, he quickly rose to a managerial position in treasury planning. In 2019, he joined Omnitrans as the Chief Financial Officer, responsible for the company's financial functions. Nicolas is passionate about problem-solving across departments and making a positive impact on the business.

Stephen Venturini

Senior Vice President
of Operations

Stephen Venturini, a Certified Customs Specialist with over 20 years of experience, leads company wide operations and customs divisions at Omnitrans. He actively participates in the industry, serving on advisory panels and boards, such as the Canadian Society of Customs Brokers and the Association of International Customs and Border Agencies. His educational background includes a B.Com. in Finance from McGill University.
