CBP Launches Forced Labor Portal

U.S. CBP has launched the Forced Portal, a centralized location for importers to submit review requests for shipments detained or excluded for forced labor enforcement. Depending on the type of review submitted, the submission will be reviewed by CBP personnel in the Forced Labor Division, the Port of Entry, or the Center of Excellence and Expertise.

Effective as of January 21, 2026, it is a mandatory requirement to use the Forced Labor Portal to submit the following review:

· Withhold Release Order/Finding admissibility reviews.

· Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act applicability reviews.

· Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act requests for exception; and

· Countering America’s Adversaries Through Sanctions Act exception requests.
