The United States Trade Representative (USTR) announced on October 2nd that certain products from the EU may be subject to an additional Tariff on October 18th.

The additional duties have not been determined at this time and could be either 10% or 25%. This decision is in response to the EU illegally subsidizing its large civil aircraft manufacturer, Airbus.  The World Trade Organization  (W.T.O.)  announced  that the additional Tariff could affect  7.5 billion dollars of products produced in the EU.   This would be in addition to the regular rates of duty that are applicable to each specific product.
